I wanted to work on a project to learn more about PHP and MySQL so I decided to code a polling website with HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. OpinionPolling dot com was alread taken so I went with OpinionPolling101 because 101 is considered to be at the basic level, and the polls on this site will be simple basic polls.
| Opinion | Your opinion about something is what you think or believe about it. |
| Polling | A poll is a survey in which people are asked their opinions about something. |
| 101 | "Topic 101" is used generally to indicate the basics of any subject. |
Like most new websites traffic is usually non-existent or very slow, so I will be posting sample polls periodically to demonstrate the features of this website. Some sample polls will be closed to voting but hopefully show some interesting data while other sample polls will be open for voting.
